Here is the finished product. Kind of a standard Pirate Zombie, but I like it. Enjoy.

See the first part of this post. Sculpture: Pirate Zombie

Here is the paints and some old frizzy brushes that are good for dry brushing.

Just use small dabs. Dry brushing doesn’t require a lot of paint.

Start with darker shades using just a little paint on the brush. For zombie skin a mixture of ultramarine and yellow ochre is used.

Go with lighter and lighter shades adding depth. Start throwing in details on teeth and stuff. More to come.

Time for a new Mini-Munny. How about Zombie Pirate. Here is the Munny I purchased.

This sweet pirate zombie sketch has been floating around since I drew it a couple months ago during down time a work.

Sculpey clay is used to make the exposed brain.

More to come.

Here is my entry for the Unusual Alice Challenge at Poison Peas Please.

Alice is a mini-munny by Kid Robot. Sculpey clay and bottle caps make her hair hat and goggles.

She holds a key we found in a desk we bought via Craigslist.

The Cheshire Cat and background are made using Sculpey. I used some knowledge I learned when making my dungeon.

This is a prototype for some shrines I may make. I will learn some electronics to add lighting to them. I will probably add a proscenium and lighting to this so we may see it again.

Congratulations to Scrapunzel1 for her great suggestion of Jim Abbott, the great one-handed MLB pitcher.

There were a lot of great ideas: George Takei, Pig Farmer, Davy Jones the Pirate, Rick Allen of Def Leppard , and Sherlock Holmes.

It was a close call between Abbott, Davy Jones and Rick Allen. Davy Jones would have been great with his squid head but I didn’t feel confident enough with my skill to give him a peg leg. That left Abbott and Allen and what it came down to was Abbott was missing the same arm/hand my Munny was missing and Rick Allen wasn’t.

So here is the Munny.

Congratulations Scrapunzel1
